Our story

We love pre-loved

Second Time Around is a treasure trove based in the market town of Banbury.

An emporium spanning over 3000 square feet; we offer a wide range of antique, vintage, and country house furniture and collectables. As well as our own beautifully restored pieces, we rent space to other collators and talented furniture restorers.

Social inclusion

We promote work, social inclusion, and independence for adults with learning disabilities

We offer training and volunteering opportunities to learning disabled adults. The people that take part in the project learn practical skills in IT, restoring furniture, and customer service – gaining certification to recognise their achievements.

We encourage them to interact with the wider community through business based activities and attendance of public selling events.

It is our joy and privilege to witness how these activities build confidence, increase networks and breakdown stereotypes and prejudices.

If you would like to support our work by donating furniture to us, we would love to hear from you. We can arrange collection of larger items within a 20-mile radius of Banbury.
